Pet Heaven was founded by Mark and Dawn Mauney in 1993 and is located in Cherryville, North Carolina. We are a family owned and operated business.

We felt there was a need for this service in our area as several veterinarians had expressed their concern on the handling of deceased pets.

We felt this service would provide a loving way to honor the loss of your family member.

Our cemetery is located in a rural setting and all grave sites are dug by hand to avoid disturbing other grave sites. From the beginning, Mark, Dawn and their staff perform the preparation and burial of each animal. Although over the past twenty years, the Pet Heaven staff has grown substantially, the overall detail to personal care hasn't faltered.

We have an open door policy, which allows you to attend the cremation or burial service. We have a private viewing room adjoining our home to provide a personal atmosphere. We also provide pickup service to your residence or to the clinic.

We are available to serve you 24 hours, 7 days a week. All our services are handled by our family in a personal and professional manner.
